Vertex Ventures and Pavilion Capital have backed the Indonesian retail business.

Two subsidiaries of Singaporean investment agency Temasek have taken part in a $4m funding round for Indonesia-based retail startup Warung Pintar, Singapore’s Business Times has reported.

Vertex Ventures and Pavilion Capital have participated in the round, along with Line Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of mobile company Line Corporation. It follows a seed round, also worth $4m, for Warung Pintar at the start of 2018.
