The former Central Bank of Nigeria deputy governor bemoaned the lack of startup finance in the country.

Nigerian presidential candidate Kingsley Moghalu has said he will set up a NGN 1 trillion ($2.8bn) venture capital fund if he is successful in February’s election, news service This Day has reported.

Moghalu, a former Central Bank of Nigeria deputy governor, said that startup businesses in the country currently only had access to finance at very high rates.
