International Finance Corporation (IFC), the World Bank’s investment arm, is reportedly planning an investment of $15m in the $50m Myanmar SME Venture Fund run by private equity firm Anthem Asia. The fund will aim to support small and growing businesses in sectors such as agribusiness, health and responding to climate change.
