The investment was made in partnership with the Bank of Ireland.

Sytorus, a Dublin-based data protection business, has raised €1.7m ($2m) in funding from development agency Enterprise Ireland and the Bank of Ireland’s Kernel Capital Early & Growth Stage Funds, FinSMEs has reported.

The funds are to be used to support expansion and the opening of an office in Frankfurt. A number of private investors were also involved in the funding round.
