Ireland-based biotechnology developer MicroSynbiotix has raised €1m ($1.2m) in seed capital from investors including Enterprise Ireland, the state-owned export credit agency, according to the Irish Times. The round was led by Alimentos Ventures and also included SOSV, RebelBio and Yield Lab Ireland. The company, founded in 2016, is working on oral vaccines to reduce infectious diseases that afflict fish stock.

Enterprise Ireland has also contributed to a €1.3m seed round for Ireland-based virtual reality games developer WarDucks, according to the Irish Times. The round was led by VC firm Suir Valley Ventures and also featured assorted angel investors. The money will go towards a “significant” recruitment drive, though the startup did not reveal numbers. Founded in 2013, t currently employs nine staff.

Axonius, an Israel-based cybersecurity technology producer, has secured $4m in a seed round that featured Vertex Ventures, the VC arm of Singapore state-owned investment firm Temasek, according to DealStreetAsia. The round was led by YL Ventures and also included Emerge Capital. Axonius has developed a platform that allows businesses to gain an overview of devices connected to their network and control their access.

High-Tech Gründerfonds, the German public-private partnership, and Bayern Kapital, the Bavaria state-owned investment firm, have contributed to a seven-figure funding round for Germany-based medical device manufacturer Reactive Robotics, according to FinSMEs. The round further featured Dr Doll Holding, MTip MedTech Innovation Partners and TQ Group. Reactive Robotics will use the money to accelerate international expansion.
