Alaska's state-owned pension scheme is planning to invest in a range of funds.

Alaska Permanent Fund, the $65bn state-owned pension scheme, has announced commitments and investments worth a total of $564m, the organisation’s board announced this week.

According to website Pensions & Investments, these commitments include $200m for the Sequoia Capital Global Growth Fund III and a further $49m to two Index Ventures-run funds: Index Ventures Growth IV, a growth equity fund, and Index Ventures IX, a venture capital fund.
