South Africa tenders for SME procurement

From 1 April, national and provincial departments must publish all tenders greater than R500,000 on the portal. Municipalities joined the system on 1 July, and must place all tenders of more than R200,000 online.

South Africa has developed an electronic tender portal for small- to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to do work with government.
