Henry Ho says hello to Rothschild

Rothschild employs Temasek’s former managing director as its non-executive chairman for the Southeast Asia region.

Rothschild, a financial advisory group, has appointed Henry Ho, former managing director of Singaporean government-owned investment firm Temasek, as its non-executive chairman for Southeast Asia, according to Deal Street Asia.

Ho worked as managing director of Temasek from 2009 to 2010. Since then he has been serving as president director of Danavon Indonesia, a portfolio firm of Temasek.

At Rothschild, he will work with the global financial advisory, wealth management and trust teams across the Southeast Asia region. Ho will help those teams seek out business opportunities and develop business relations.

Robert Leitão, head of global financial advisory at Rothschild, said: “Asia is important to the firm’s growth strategy globally. Henry’s appointment will amplify our growth strategy in Asia, which reflects the firm’s long-term commitment to the region.”
