Enterprise Ireland unveils $590,000 startup fund

Technology businesses in the agriculture, food and marine sectors are set to benefit.

Enterprise Ireland, the state-backed development agency, has announced the launch of a €500,000 ($590,000) investment fund aimed at startups in the marine technology and agritech sectors.

The Competitive Start Fund was unveiled by Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Michael Creed, at the end of June.
