EIF joins backers of $142m P101 fund

The Italian venture capital firm has also been supported by Fondo Italiano d’Investimento.

Italy-based venture capital firm P101 has announced plans to launch a new €120m ($142m) fund with support from the European Investment Fund, the investment arm of the World Bank, and private equity company Fondo Italiano d’Investimento.

The fund will be known as Programma 102, according to website FinSMEs, and is also being backed by Azimut and Fondazione Sardegna.
