The Global Government Venturing deal net rounds up all the latest smaller deals and tracks emerging companies accessing government funds.
Scottish Enterprise, the economic development agency of Scotland, has contributed to a £2.7m ($3.4m) funding round for Qikserve, the developer of a cloud-based hospitality platform for customers to order and pay for items through a mobile device or terminal, according to Finextra. The round was led by private equity firm Maven Capital Partners with a £2m commitment, while Par Equity and Equity Gap also contributed. The money will go towards the international roll-out of Qikserve’s product, including the US, drive recruitment and support channel partners.
