Scottish Enterprise, the economic development agency of Scotland, has contributed to a £2.7m ($3.4m) funding round for Qikserve, the developer of a cloud-based hospitality platform for customers to order and pay for items through a mobile device or terminal, according to Finextra. The round was led by private equity firm Maven Capital Partners with a £2m commitment, while Par Equity and Equity Gap also contributed.
