Connecticut Innovations hires McCooe

McCooe was previously responsible for guiding companies formed out of Columbia University research through Science and Technology Ventures.

Venture capitalist Matt McCooe has joined US state-backed Connecticut Innovations as CEO. He replaces Claire Leonardi, who stepped down at the end of last year after her husband left his position as the state's insurance commissioner.
