British Business Investments backs Oxx’s $100m debut fund

The growth capital firm plans to target B2B software companies in UK, Israel and the Nordic economies.

Oxx, a growth capital investor based in the UK and Sweden has raised $100m in the first close of its debut fund with backing from British Business Investments, part of the British Business Bank.

Oxx was founded at the start of 2017 by Richard Anton and Mikael Johnsson, both formerly of Amadeus Capital. Catherine Lewis La Torre, CEO of British Business Investments, said: “Growth capital is vital for helping innovative technology companies scale up and take their business to the next level. This announcement will help more of these businesses access the finance they need to grow and succeed.”
